Titus 2:11-14
11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

Devotional
The crowds around John were watching and waiting for their Messiah. They were so expectant that they wondered whether this wilderness preacher might be the One. The Savior was coming, and they were ready to look for Him.
We live in expectation too, of Jesus’ return. He could come at any time, even this very hour. That isn’t meant to make us anxious. It’s meant to shape how we walk. If He came today, what kind of people would we be? Living with that in mind keeps us in constant conversation with God and keeps short accounts with Him when we fail.. An expectant heart stays ready, and it stays honest!
We live in expectation too, of Jesus’ return. He could come at any time, even this very hour. That isn’t meant to make us anxious. It’s meant to shape how we walk.
