Reading:
1 Peter 5:8-11
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. 10 But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. 11 To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Devotional:
We have a real enemy!
And just as military personnel study their adversaries to protect their teams, we must understand Satan's tactics without becoming obsessed with him... He is the deceiver, the accuser, the tempter—but he is a defeated foe. Through the Cross and the Empty tomb, we have been given Jesus' victory over our enemy.
Today, you don't need to fear the roaring lion but you need to resist him, standing firm in faith. When we know our enemy and know His tactics, it not only helps us to walk in the victory secured by Jesus but it equips us to help those who are under attack as well!
As we know the truth and know the enemies attacks, we can spot his traps miles away!
Challenge: Take time to look back on Pastor Mark's sermon, what aspect of Satan's attack are you most prone to? Study what Gods word says on that topic and equip yourselves to do battle in that area!
