Reading:
Hebrews 4:12-13
12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

2 Timothy 3:16-17
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Devotional:
Christ's only weapon is the sword from His mouth—the Word of God. This same Word spoke creation into existence, calmed storms, and will defeat His enemies. It's living, active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to divide soul and spirit. The Word that saves is the same Word that judges. Have you experienced its piercing power in your own salvation moment? God's Word doesn't just inform; it transforms. It cuts through our excuses, exposes our hearts, and performs spiritual surgery.
Today, approach Scripture not as mere information but as the very voice of God. Let it examine your thoughts and intentions. Allow the Holy Spirit to use this sharp sword to refine you, cutting away what doesn't belong.
Challenge: As you read your bible today, write down one area where God's Word convicts, corrects, or encourages you. Then respond in obedience to what He reveals.
