Revelation 21:4
4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
2 Corinthians 1:3-5
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ
Psalm 30:5
For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.

Devotional
"God will wipe away every tear from their eyes." This beautiful promise speaks to our deepest pain. No more death, sorrow, crying, or pain—the former things will pass away completely. The Greek word suggests they become evanescent—out of sight, nonexistent. Perhaps you're struggling with grief, loss, or painful memories today. God sees your tears. He is the God of all comfort who desires to comfort you completely. While the ultimate fulfillment awaits the new heaven and earth, God offers comfort now through His presence. The pain you carry won't last forever. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
Let the God of comfort minister to your hurting heart today, knowing that one day, every tear will be wiped away forever.
