The Sword That Conquers | June 22nd, 2026
Reading:
Hebrews 4:12-13
12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Devotional:
The Word of God is not merely information—it is living, active, and sharper than any two-edged sword. At Armageddon, Christ defeats His enemies not with physical weapons but with the word from His mouth. This same power is available to you today. When you face spiritual battles, temptations, or deception, your greatest weapon is Scripture.
Are you wielding it daily?
Don't enter spiritual warfare unarmed. Memorize Scripture, meditate on it, and hold tightly to the promises of God! Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Trust the Word to do the battling for you.
Challenge: When you get into the Word this week, ask yourself: "What is this passage teaching me? What is this passage rebuking? What is this correcting me back to? What is this passage instructing me in righteous living? How is this passage equipping me?"
