A River, A Tree & A Testimony | Revelation 22:1-11

What would it look like to stand at the threshold of eternity and peer inside? In Revelation 22, we get exactly that -- a guided tour of the New Jerusalem, where the very source of all life flows as a crystal-clear river straight from the throne of God and the Lamb. This is not merely poetic imagery. It is a declaration about where all good things originate. Every pure thought, every wise decision, every righteous act traces its source back to God himself. As we walk through this passage together, we are challenged to examine the source of what drives our own lives. Are the decisions we are making, the paths we are pursuing, filtering through what is true, noble, pure, and praiseworthy? The river in this vision is a mirror held up to our daily walk. And at the center of it all stands the tree of life -- a symbol that stretches across the entire arc of Scripture, from the garden of Eden to the cross to this final eternal city -- reminding us that God has always been reaching toward humanity with the offer of life, healing, and wholeness. The curse is gone. The night is gone. What remains is the face of God and the names of his people written in belonging to him forever.
