WHAT IS A LIFE GROUP?
A Calvary Chapel Life Group is a gathering of believers from our church body that get together to share life and support one another. Life Groups provide a means to connect with others, make a gospel impact in the community, and challenge us to be more like Christ. They are an excellent way to get to know others in the church and build personal relationships.
WHY ARE THEY SO IMPORTANT?
Life is hard and was never meant to be lived alone. In Life Groups you will develop relationships with other believers on a deeper level. We believe Life Group are the place where sustained life change occurs. You will talk through life issues, eat together, pray together, laugh together, struggle together, and serve others as we are transformed by the grace of God in our lives.
WHAT HAPPENS IN A LIFE GROUP?
Life Groups meet bi-weekly on various evenings in the Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and Stafford areas. Life Group leaders facilitate discussion of the previous Sunday's sermon (or approved curriculum) by asking questions and emphasizing application. There is time for fellowship and connection with one another through prayer. It is also a place where we use our gifts and talents to impact and serve our community.
