What To Expect at Calvary Chapel Fredericksburg

It can be intimidating to visit a new church. What will they be wearing? How do they worship? Will I be welcome? Those with children have the added question and uncertainty concerning their kids feeling welcomed and enjoying their experience. At Calvary, we understand the questions and feelings that surround your first visit to a new place. We make every effort to make you feel welcome from the moment you first arrive and every time you return.

Dress, music and acceptance are thoughts lingering in one’s mind as you take a step toward entering the church.
Our dress code is casual and our worship music is modern and passionate.

Worship and Announcements

A typical Sunday morning begins with live worship which lasts approximately 25 minutes. After worship, we like to greet one another, do a quick run through of announcements and collect tithes and offerings.

After worship our Senior Pastor will begin our Sunday Morning Message. Our messages come simply from the Word of God, as we apply His unchanging truth in a verse by verse study of the Bible. The service will conclude with a final worship song, and anyone who needs or wants prayer can meet with one of our ministry leaders at the front of the sanctuary.

Children’s Ministry

Whatever your child’s age group, we provide an appropriate setting to meet his or her needs. Our Infant and Toddler Nursery offer the perfect place for your little one to be loved and cared for, while giving you the opportunity to enjoy the worship service. Pre-K through Grade 5 will experience Christ-centered Bible studies with an age specific curriculum.

Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry of Calvary Chapel joins the adults for the worship portion of our service before being excused to attend their own verse by verse study of the Bible in our Youth Room.

We invite you to come and join us for a Sunday Morning or Wednesday Evening Service.
